The Netherlands Study Centre for Technology Trends (STT) in collaboration with Het Nieuwe Instituut

The Netherlands Study Centre for Technology Trends (STT)  is an independent non-profit foundation, funded by financial contributions from the Dutch government and industry and science and carries out society oriented technology foresight studies. For that purpose STT facilitates a free space in which enthusiastic stakeholders, experts and creative minds from industry, society, science and government take part. There are often more than 100 participants per project. Young people from schools and universities are increasingly included in discussions. The participants create views on the future of technology in society.

 aims to illuminate and map our quickly changing world and foster discussion of it, in a networked fashion, with architects, designers, artists, makers, entrepreneurs, knowledge institutes, cultural organisations and other interested parties. All ’s activities are grounded in the principles of design and innovation – two concepts bound up with changing value systems. organises exhibitions, lectures and fellowships, carries out research and development projects, and publishes outcomes within three multiyear programmes, Landscape and Interior, Things and Materials, and annual themes (2014 WWairs).
