Once a month, I open up the studio. Forty-five minutes of real-time improvisation — witnessed by whoever shows up.

The studio is quiet. No external sounds. Just the instruments, the room, and whatever wants to arise. My breath. My hands on the keys. The crack of my chair as I shift. Whatever presents itself — planned or unplanned — becomes the music. Nothing is a mistake. Everything belongs. This is not a performance but a space of possibility, where nothing needs to be different than it is. — not something to shape into something better, but something to meet with open attention. There is no setlist. No rehearsed transitions. The music takes shape in real-time, shaped by the energy of that evening, the presence of those tuning in, and something deeper that doesn't have a name. I don't know where it's going. Neither do you. And that is precisely the point — we are not traveling toward something. We are here, together, in a space where nothing needs to be different than it is.

You are invited to let go of the idea that you are a listener and I am a player. There is no separation here. Your breath, your stillness, your presence — they are part of what makes this moment what it is. Join wherever you are. Listen actively, or simply let it play while you breathe. Once the music fades, it is gone. It cannot be recreated. But for 45 minutes, we shared something real — a space where you were allowed to be exactly as you are, and nothing was required of you except presence.
