As a professional producer, sound designer and improviser, Marc van Mourik has composed for a wide range of music and film productions, as well as for organizations worldwide. He is also a beloved musical partner for theater companies in the Netherlands, where he improvises live piano for moving, hilarious and thrilling scenes on stage.

From an early age, he was captivated by the art of free improvisation — beginning on the church organ, and later expanding to piano, synthesizers, bass guitar, accordion and various flutes. This lifelong passion, combined with his background in both music and mechanical engineering, shapes his distinctive and intuitive approach to sound.

Since the early 2000s, he has been releasing music under the label Soundtracks To Relax. Through a deep connection with the universe, Marc taps into an infinite library of inspiration, allowing him to continually stream fresh, pure compositions.

The release of his single Cycle Of The Sun in 2011 marked the beginning of his international presence on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Today, his discography includes more than 25 singles and albums that have been streamed millions of times around the world.
