Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management
The award-winning hospitality management and culinary arts programs at CT State Manchester offer students a choice of degree and certificate programs in the areas of culinary arts, foodservice and hotel-tourism.
Both the Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management associate in science degree programs have been granted exemplary status by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF). This distinction is a guarantee to students that their program has met or exceeded the standards set by the ACF Accrediting Commission and the foodservice industry. Graduates from this program may apply to the American Culinary Federation (ACF) to become a Certified Cook, a nationally recognized certification.
Over the years, Manchester graduates have gone on to own bakeries; serve as chefs and managers in both formal and informal restaurants; work in foodservice settings in health care, business and industry; work in hotels of all sizes and hold management positions in many areas of the hospitality field.
