Wij zijn Maarten en Niels, initiatiefnemers van De Mannentafel in Nederland.

We organiseren introductieavonden waarin mannen samen eten en in gesprek gaan in een kleine, veilige groep. Vanuit de overtuiging dat mannen wél praten — als de setting klopt — helpen we om vaste mannentafels op te starten die eens per maand samenkomen.

Onze rol is om deze tafels te initiëren en te ondersteunen: we leiden hosts op en blijven beschikbaar als sparringpartner wanneer dat nodig is.

Geïnspireerd door het gedachtegoed van The Men’s Table uit Australië bouwen we aan een netwerk van lokale mannentafels in onder andere Utrecht, Den Haag en andere steden in Nederland.

We are Maarten and Niels, the initiators of De Mannentafel in the Netherlands.

We organise introductory evenings where men share a meal and talk together in a small, safe group. Based on the belief that men do talk — when the setting is right — we help establish ongoing Men’s Tables that meet once a month.

Our role is to initiate and support these groups: we train hosts and remain available as sounding boards whenever needed.

Inspired by The Men’s Table in Australia, we are building a network of local Men’s Tables in Utrecht, The Hague and other cities across the Netherlands.
