Sam has worked in the NHS for over 20 years, in patient-facing clinical and research delivery roles, moving into management roles from 2008. She is passionate about lifelong learning and supporting the development of others and am motivated by wanting to make a difference, and has worked in the field of coaching and management development for over 14 years. Always creating a safe and supportive environment to enable individuals to think creatively and courageously about themselves, their choices, their decisions and their actions. After all, it is the application of learning that makes the real difference.
Having trained as a transformative mediator 9 years ago, Sam has worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds enabling them to gain clarity about themselves and others, and to move towards more productive relationships. As well as mediating between parties in conflict, she delivers ‘Responding Effectively to Workplace Conflict’ training to NHS staff and has developed Transformative Dialogue training – a programme to enabled trained mediators to work with groups in conflict.

Fiona has been working in the field of counselling and psychological support for over 25years, and during this time has gained a depth of knowledge and experience, working in a number of specialist settings, including Relate (NI), Northlands Addiction Centre, Private Practice in NI and as a Health and Wellbeing Counsellor for the Metropolitan Police. Currently Fiona is the head of service of an in-house staff support service CONTACT, Staff Counselling, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution and Trauma Support Services and Psychological Wellbeing lead for a large NHS Trust in London. Fiona has worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds, ages and cultures, with the widest spectrum of presenting issues, her style of counselling is integrative and pluri-dimensional, built upon the foundations of the core principles of the person-centred approach. Fiona has always been actively involved in developing her knowledge, skills and awareness of the environments in which she works and beyond and has gained expertise in other aspects of therapeutic work, such as Trauma Debriefing, Psychological Screening, Transformative Mediation and Dialogue (Individuals and Groups) and Clinical Supervision. She has also developed and facilitated training in a number of topics/themes, such as Stress Awareness and Resilience, Managing Conflict, Power & Control, Suicide and Self Harm, PTSD, and Eating Disorders.
