Radical Walks

Radical Walks

Danny Bee organises radical walks and talks across London and the south-east.

These generally cover social and socialist movements, the development of mass production and consumerism, housing, urban planning and design, offices, department stores, technologies, taste and fashion, anecdotes and reminiscences.

Inspirations, such as they are, include Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, Christopher Alexander, Percival and Paul Goodman, Titian, Tintoretto, Der Blaue Rieter, the Secession movement, Catherine Bauer, Fats Waller, Sylvia Pankhurst, Nikolaus Pevsner, Jan Massys, Ada and Alfred Salter, Eleanor Marx, George Kubler, William Morris, Eve Blau, Ethel Waters, David Bowie, Sebastiano Timpanaro, Josef Frank, Louis Armstrong, the Northern Renaissance, AWN Pugin, Charles Fourier...and more.
