Shaldon Pottery Studio - Tina Hill-Art

Welcome to my page!

My name is Tina Hill-Art and I'm a ceramic sculptor working from an estuary-side studio in Shaldon. My work is in several Devon galleries and I am an active member of both the West Country Potters Association & The Devon Artist Network.

I hand-build forms and figurative /sculptural items using traditional slab, sculpting or coiled clay techniques and fire to high 'stoneware' temperatures. I prefer matte tactile finishes reflecting the surrounding natural land and seascapes.

As well as creating my own work, I host small group 'one-off' ceramic sessions in a small venue in the lovely coastal village of Shaldon, and organise the annual Shaldon Pottery Fair (You can find me on Instagram & F/b: @shaldonpotterystudio & @shaldonpotteryfair)
