As part of their ongoing commitment and advocacy to increase gender equality in politics, NIMD and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace are delighted to invite you to the presentation of the book:
Aiding Empowerment; Democracy Promotion and Gender Equality in Politics
In this book, Carnegie researchers Saskia Brechenmacher and Katherine Mann provide the first comprehensive analysis of international aid for women's political empowerment. Based on more than 180 interviews with policymakers, women politicians and advocates, they present several recommendations to reform aid to women’s political empowerment.
We are very happy to be joined by the authors on 11 June to present their findings and discuss the recommendations with us.
