Coffeebags Re-Imagined
“Every year, the more than sixty coffee roasters in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region use thousands of jute coffee bags. Today, these sacks end up in the incinerator after use – a loss of valuable raw material and a missed opportunity for our circular city. In Amsterdam alone, the incineration of textiles accounts for 4% of total CO₂ emissions. These coffee sacks are part of that figure.”
Last year a coalition of the textile value chain worked together on collaboration and rethink to repose these jute bags. The outcome we want to share with you. And hopefully you will stepp in to work together! Let's not wasted jute coffeebags!
