This workshop is for you. This workshop will be hosted by Barbara Ganseman. She is a nutrition specialist, Nutrition Therapist, expert on weight loss and sleep/energy issues and has her practice in Amsterdam. She loves to share her love for the health properties of food, herbs & spices. With a simple pinch of spice a day you can improve your health in many ways. Learn how you can simply include herbs & spices for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

What you will learn:
- The health properties of various day-to-day spices
- The use of herbs/spices in various countries
- A bit of history on herbs/spices
- What to look out for when you buy herbs/spices
- Some recommendations on shops/places to buy
- How to store herbs/spices and keep them fresh
- Especially for the vegetarians there will be a vegetarian version!
- We mainly will be working with 'normal' everyday herbs and spices that are easily available in the shops. We will also be talking about a few more 'exotic' spices that are not so well known, but used more often in various different cultures. We will be cooking with them, too, ofcourse :o)
After all this information, we are going to prepare, cook and eat!
This will all take place in a beautiful kitchen in the lovely area of De Jordaan in the city centre of Amsterdam.
