We are thrilled to announce that our week-long pop-up with multidisciplinary artist Lora Avedian from the 11th to 15th June culminates in a day of creative workshops in which Lora shares her guidance and expertise in the textile arts.
Napkin Embroidery Workshop
The second creative workshop we will be hosting is a 'Napkin Embroidery Workshop', where Lora will guide you through the basics of hand-embroidery using designs from her book 'Stitch in Bloom'. Participants will learn the techniques of couching, french knots, and open chain stitches, and use them to embroider a floral design of their choosing onto a cloth napkin which they can then bring home and adorn their dinner table with.
In addition, a complimentary beverage and sweet treat from the Edible Treasures kitchen will be served during the workshop.
