During this (recurring) Gamification Workshop level I - we explain every single element of designing a good serious game or gamification system. We do this, by using the Gamification Canvas, Bart Hufen developed for the University of Amsterdam in 2015. Apart from this model we can share the insights of over a decade of experience in designing serious games and gamification systems for companies like Air France KLM, Foot Locker, Nationale Nederlanden en Vodafone.

Apart from pre-recorded video's with explanation and instructions, Albert and / or Bart will be LIVE available during the course, or we choose to do a LIVE session. This is up to the participants, every workshop. We will also be available for Q&A after each session (so you can always tune in the next Gamification Workshop).

And...If you perform well, you will even get to play some games ;-).

After experiencing this workshop you :

1. Understand why game mechanics can be so effective in influencing consumer- and employee behavior
2. Capable of developing a sound briefing for a serious game or gamification system
3. Understand which types of players, drives and motivations there are
4. Able to come up with a creative concept and apply game mechanics that match motivation of your player audience
5. Design a game-loop to increase 'addictiveness' to your concept
6. Possibly developing a paper prototype for your game concept
7. Have access to the pocket arcade card deck, GameStorm playground, 30+ video's that explain each game mechanic in detail, two books (A brand new playground and the summary of Press Start) and much more
