Drop-off moment.

We kindly ask you to drop off your items at the drop-off moment on Sunday the 20th.

This way we have enough time to do a proper quality check and ensure there will be a large collection ready right from the start of the event.

Location: LAB111 - Arie Biemondstraat 111, Amsterdam
The last chance to drop off items is on the event day. Between 17:00 - 18:00.
Swap Market opening hours: Thursday, August 24 from 17:00 until 21:00.

Our aim: a swap offer that makes you happy.

All submitted items are carefully checked for quality. At several moments during the event, items will be added to the swap offer. So, if you stick around, you may be surprised over and over again 🪄

At this event, you will also find a Holy Swap! premium clothing line. These are unique and high-quality vintage items, from brands such as Levi's, Fruit of the Loom, Dr Martens and Salomon.

We're called 'HOLY' swap for a reason! 😉

Rules:

You can submit a maximum of 8 items per person.
Clothes, shoes, bags, books, and board games. Adults stuff only.
Hand-in items clean, washed, and in excellent or good condition.
Hand-in items that can be worn this season. Save your thick winter coat for the next event.
Underwear, swimwear will not be accepted.
Worn-out and torn clothes cannot be swapped, but can be donated. More info below.
Low-quality items from fast fashion chains like H&M, Primark, Berschka, Zara, Pull&Bear and Monki cannot be swapped, but can be donated. More info below.
Board games must be complete.
Books must be in Dutch or English.

Token system.

For a fair swap experience, we work with a token system. For each item, you earn 1, 3, or 5 tokens. The higher the quality, the more tokens you earn. During the event, you use your earned tokens for other items. These also cost 1, 3, or 5 tokens. So: if you hand in good items, you can take good items ✨

All books and board games are 1 token.

Swap-fee per item.

We ask for a small contribution per item you take home, the so-called swap-fee. With this, we try to cover the costs of this event. If we make a profit, we put it into the further development of Holy Swap!

For products worth 1 token you pay €3.00 swap-fee
For products worth 3 tokens you pay €4.00 swap-fee
For products worth 5 tokens you pay €5.00 swap-fee

Extra donations are always allowed of course! 😉

Are you short of tokens? Buy extra ones.

If you have handed in stuff, you can buy a maximum of 10 additional tokens on the day itself.

After 19:00 tokens sale is also open for people who have not handed in stuff.

It's PIN ONLY.

Do you have tokens left over? Redeem them online.

Our app is still in the development phase, but in our online Swap Experiment on Instagram is already some swapping going on. If you have leftover tokens, you can place them in your online token wallet at checkout. You can use these tokens for items from the community's online offering. Online we swap clothes, shoes and books. Products are added weekly and many get a longer life!

Clothing donation point.

If you have more clothes you want to get rid of, you can donate them to us on the drop-off moments. We will make sure this gets a next life. In our community or somewhere else. The money we make from this goes towards the further development of Holy Swap!. Which means: more impact! 🌍💚
