De eerste band is bekend: Dr. Bird & Co.
Dr. Bird is an 8-piece, instrumental band and plays ska-jazz & early-reggae. This company takes you on a musical journey: A Ska Trip! On board you will be treated to nice catchy melodies of horns, flavored with keys and guitars, on a swinging bed of bass, drums and percussion.
The basic ingredients of this cheerful and surprising music, with plenty of room for improvisation. The ska trip starts of course in Jamaica, birthplace of ska and reggae. When the country gained its independence in 1962, ska was the soundtrack. Freedom Sounds!
