What is Masters of Java

Masters of Java is a "funprogging contest" (based on Java SE) for every Java developer in Belgium.

For several years now it's organised by the NLJUG in the Netherlands as the unofficial Dutch Java coding championship. The best Java developers gather the day before JFall and compete for the prestigious title "Master of Java".

Now the time has come to bring Masters of Java to Belgium!

When: Wednesday 1 november 2017 (12u - 18u)

Where: Antwerp - Kontich (Veldkant 33, 2550 Kontich)

Cost: Free

Powered by : jstack, Xplore Group, Cronos, NLJUG, BEJUG

How does it work?

The Master of Java is competition where true program skills are tested and not API knowledge. In all dutch editions the Masters of Java has resulted in epic battles.
In several rounds contesters will be challenged with funny or mind blowing assignments that need to be completed in 30 minutes. If you manage to complete them faster you get extra points for every second.

Teams consist of max 2 developers and the team that has the most points at the end of the day will be "Master of Java 2017". Next to eternal fame, you can win several cool prizes.
If you don't have a team you can enter solo, or make a team with someone else before the start of the event.

We organize the event on the same day as the dutch edition, so be prepared for a battle of the "lage landen"!

Interested? Don't wait to subscribe as seats are limited.
If you want to subscribe as a team, select this option in the first step of the registration. You can add members to your team when your subscription is complete.
