North Sea Seaweed 2024

North Sea Seaweed is the annual seaweed event organized by the North Sea Farmers. During the two-day event in The Hague leading speakers from seaweed industry will talk about the latest insights and lead the discussion on the roadmap of the sector. Moreover, North Sea Seaweed inspires and encourages to connect with seaweed organizations, potential clients and investors.

Expect inspiring presentations, in-depth workshop panel discussions and matchmaking.

Program

Plenary Inspiration Session: Discussion on the ambitions of the European seaweed sector and the actions for the future.

Thematic sessions on the four main seaweed markets: Thematic sessions are held. The sessions are open for investors, potential clients, NSF members, policy makers and other stakeholders.

The sessions on the first day will focus on one of the main seaweed markets: food and production. On the second day, sessions will focus on feed, biomaterials and biostimulants.

The sessions will include an expert presentation followed by an open discussion. There will also be an opportunity to present your innovation, product or service.

Match-making & networking: At North Sea Seaweed there are dedicated match making sessions. The goal is to meet new clients, investors or partners and introduce your seaweed solution to them. At the end of the conference, you will go home with follow-up actions, new valuable contacts and new ideas to help grow your business.

Seaweed market exhibition: At the Seaweed Market you will discover latest innovations around seaweed, in the diverse markets: biostimulants, food, feed, biomaterials and technical innovations around production.
