WHAT IS A CACAO CEREMONY?

A cacao ceremony is a sacred shamanic ritual that has been gifted to us by the Mayan and Aztec tradition. Cacao helps you to awaken spiritually. It quiets the mind, opens your heart and brings you in touch with your true self.

From this place of deep connection, you can tap into the wisdom of your Soul and receive the guidance and insights that you’re longing for.

In a cacao ceremony, you drink ceremonial cacao with a clear intention for guidance. After that, you journey into yourself with the help of a Soul Journey meditation, breath work, music and/or ecstatic dance.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS

On August 9, 2025, the full moon shines in Aquarius. This energy is all about letting go of old habits, thinking outside the box, and feeling free to be yourself. It’s a time to notice where you feel stuck and ask, “What do I really want for my life?” Aquarius brings a fresh, inspiring vibe, perfect for new ideas and big dreams, while Leo (where the sun sits) helps you listen to your heart and show up as your true Soul self.

This Full Moon is a beautiful gateway to clarity, release, and expansion.

WHAT TO EXPECT OF AN ONLINE CACAO CEREMONY

Prepare your cacao before the online ceremony begins. During a cacao ceremony, you drink a ceremonial dose of cacao (35 grams), after you’ve set your intention for your ceremony and shamanic soul journey.

After drinking the cacao, you will be led into a transcendent Shamanic Soul Journey meditation. During this guided meditation, you will go on an inner journey in which you will tap into the wisdom of your Soul with the help of mother cacao. From this place you can receive the answers and insights that you’re longing for.

In my ceremonies I also use music, singing and sound meditation. These vibrations will help to open you up. This will help you experience the magic of mother Cacao even more. There will also be sharing in the circle, and (journaling) exercises.

After the cacao ceremony, you will feel relaxed, energized, connected, happy, and maybe even a bit enlightened.

Hi! I’m Hailey, a Cacao Ceremonialist, Shamanic Soul Guide, Soul Purpose Expert, and devoted mentor for those longing to reconnect with their true essence.

My life’s work is to help you remember that everything you need is already within you by connecting you to your Soul.

If you prefer to drink a cup herbal tea during the ceremony instead of cacao, that is, of course fine. The energy of the cacao spirit will still open your heart.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CEREMONY

Wear comfortable and warm clothes.
It's advised to not drink coffee on the day of the ceremony. If not drinking coffee gives you a headache, try to drink less coffee and in a lower dose.
It's advised to not drink alcohol or use drugs the day before and on the day of the ceremony.
Don’t eat anything at least 3 hours before the ceremony.
You can bring a notebook and pen (and crystals if you like).
It's not advised to drink a ceremonial doses of cacao (35 gram) if:

- Have severe heart problems

- Are on a high doses of antidepressants that contain MAOIs

- Use medication against high blood pressure.

- You’re pregnant: it's okay to drink ceremonial cacao while pregnant, but cacao can activate your baby or cause nausea. If you're not familiar with drinking cacao while pregnant, please contact me.

Please note that this not medical advice: consult your doctor if you want to join a ceremony but are not sure if this is suitable for you. I can always make a milder dose of cacao specially for you.
