Biography
Nene Moné is a music producer and transdisciplinary researcher whose work bridges immersive soundscapes, political ecology and activism against ongoing coloniality. Drawing from their roots, Moné fuses organic elements with electronic rhythms and synthesizers to evoke powerful narratives of resistance and re-existence. With a long-standing commitment to social and environmental justice, their activism challenges extractivism, industrial metabolism, and monoculture. In this performance, Moné conjures an original soundscape reflecting the ongoing struggles in a land of vitality and spirit, where native forests and waters are being seized and polluted, yet nature continues to resist and thrive.
