9.30 tot 12.30 Structured Decision Making – voertaal Engels

Door: Eleonora de Michele (Aus)

Eleonora De Michele has been working in child protection service delivery for the past 38 years in both government and non-government organisations.

Her extensive experience includes working in frontline statutory Child Protection work as a Case Worker, supervisor, senior manager; oversighting Child Protection and Out of Home Care policy development and implementation and as a Senior Child Protection trainer.

For the past 22 years Eleonora has worked as an independent consultant, both nationally and internationally, providing high quality consultancy services to government and non-government organisations in all aspects of Child Protection service development, delivery and evaluation. She continues to provide specialist clinical services including expert child protection and out-of-home care case reviews, assessments and opinion testimony in complex child abuse cases.

“We recognise that child protection interventions are more likely to lead to meaningful and lasting change when children, young people, parents and their networks are active participants in assessment, planning and decision-making processes. The expression ‘Nothing about us, without us’ captures this commitment to ensuring that, to the greatest possible extent, any planning about the family is done with the family.”

This workshop focuses on structured decision making.
