WAT IS EIS NUL?

KLIMAATRECHTVAARDIGHEID VOOR IEDEREEN

We eisen een rechtvaardige transitie die de behoeften en stemmen van degenen die het meest getroffen worden door de klimaatcrisis centraal stelt en degenen die het meest verantwoordelijk zijn voor ecologische verwoesting ter verantwoording roept.

WAAROM EIS NUL?

Eis 0 is fundamenteel voor de logica van eisen 1, 2 en 3. Het vormt de rode draad voor waarom we eisen dat de overheid de waarheid vertelt, nu handelt en burgers laat beslissen over de klimaat- en ecologische crisis.

We erkennen dat het principe van klimaatrechtvaardigheid niet extra of aanvullend is, en noemen het Eis Nul om te benadrukken dat het een voorwaarde is voor eisen 1, 2 en 3, en dat de beweging staat voor Klimaatrechtvaardigheid voor Iedereen.

In deze interactieve workshop zullen we ons begrip van wat klimaatrechtvaardigheid is en voor ons betekent verbreden en verdiepen. De workshop is gebaseerd op deliberatie. Zo biedt het de ruimte om jouw/onze ideeën, ervaringen en vragen (ook de 'domme') te delen. De workshop is bedoeld als een startpunt om Eis 0 als lokale groepen formeel te omarmen. Een eerste stap omdat we hopen en denken dat er nog vele gesprekken zullen volgen om klimaatrechtvaardigheid onderdeel te maken van onze beweging - te (ont)leren en te groeien als gemeenschap en als individu.

VOOR WIE?

• Deze workshop is voor rebellen van XR Groningen, XR Friesland en XR Drenthe.

• Deze workshop is bedoeld voor rebellen die nieuw en onbekend zijn met het thema klimaatrechtvaardigheid EN ook voor rebellen die meer bekend zijn met deze thema's. Deze workshop is echt ontworpen om je te ontmoeten waar je bent, waar je ook bent in je leerreis, en moedigt ons aan om van elkaar te leren.

WHAT IS DEMAND ZERO?

CLIMATE JUSTICE FOR ALL

We demand a just transition that puts the needs and voices of those most affected by the climate crisis at the centre and holds those most responsible for ecological devastation accountable.

WHY DEMAND ZERO?

Demand 0 is fundamental to the logic of demands 1, 2 and 3. It forms the common thread for why we demand that governments tell the truth, act now and let citizens decide about the climate and ecological crisis.

We recognise that the principle of climate justice is not additional or supplementary, and call it Demand Zero to emphasise that it is a prerequisite for demands 1, 2 and 3, and that the movement stands for Climate Justice for All.

In this interactive workshop we'll broaden and deepen our understanding of what climate justice is and means to us. The workshop is based on deliberation. In this way it provides the space to share (y)our ideas, experiences and questions (also the 'stupid' ones). The workshop is meant as a starting point to formally embrace Demand 0 as a local group during a general meeting. A first step because we hope and think that many more conversations will follow in order to make climate justice part and parcel of our movement - (un)learn and grow as a community and as individuals.

FOR WHOM?

• This workshop is for rebels from XR Groningen, XR Friesland and XR Drenthe.

• This workshop is meant for rebels who are new and unfamiliar with the topic of climate justice AND also for rebels who are more familiar with these themes. This workshop is really designed to meet you where you are at where-ever you are in your learning journey, and encourages us to learn from each other.
