CCO is a chamber ensemble made up of string players. Each Saturday they rehearse at The Citadel in Columbus where they play a variety of music covering genres such as jazz, hip-hop, and classical. Most of the works they perform are arrangements by the founder, Stephen Spottswood, curated by the Executive Director, Ashton Hood. So far, they have produced three incredible seasons since their founding in January 2020. The last time the Columbus Cultural Orchestra graced a stage they presented a sold out concert at WOSU's concert venue on June 16, 2023 as we celebrated Juneteenth.
