David Green's MUSICAL THEATRE UNIVERSITY (MTU) is an intensive, pre-professional conservatory for talented young people with aspirations for careers in the performing arts. The program works with aspiring musical actors from grades 8 -12. Young artists are selected by audition from throughout the Coachella Valley and neighboring counties and communities. MTU is in residence at the Helene Galen Performing Arts Center, based at the Rancho Mirage High School. The program is underwritten by The Foundation for PSUSD, a 501(c)(3) and sponsored by the Palm Springs Unified School District.
