East Staffordshire Borough Council

East Staffordshire Borough Council is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of its approximately 124,000 residents across 21 wards and 38 parish councils. Spanning from the picturesque villages of Barton-under-Needwood in the south to Mayfield in the north, this essentially rural borough is part of the wider county of Staffordshire and is home to the National Forest and borders Derbyshire to the east.

At the heart of East Staffordshire lie the thriving towns of Burton upon Trent, renowned for its rich brewing heritage, and Uttoxeter, a charming market town. The borough boasts some of the Midlands' most stunning countryside, with the Rivers Trent and Dove winding through quaint villages, award-winning restaurants, and cosy pubs.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents by delivering efficient and effective services, supporting local businesses, and promoting East Staffordshire as an attractive destination for visitors.

We strive to preserve the borough's natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant communities while fostering sustainable growth and development. Through collaborative partnerships and community engagement, East Staffordshire Borough Council is committed to creating a prosperous, inclusive, and environmentally responsible future for all who call this remarkable area home.
