The Feminist Bird Club was founded in New York by Molly Adams in 2016 and has since expanded to 25+ chapters and sibling clubs. The Toronto chapter was formed in 2019 and is a group of passionate bird nerds eager to share and encourage others to get excited about our avian friends. We organize monthly events across the GTA and the internet and have a keen focus on collaborating with different community groups. With our intersectional approach to the outdoors we aim to engage communities with what is around them and make nature more accessible. We hope we can leverage people's passion for environmental and social justice to create a lasting change.
