UC Master Food Preserver Online Delivery Program
The UC Master Food Preserver Online Delivery Program offers free, research-based online classes on safe home food preservation.
Our trained volunteers help home food preservers learn approved recipes and techniques for canning, freezing, freeze drying, dehydrating, fermenting, pickling, and more. Whether you are new to preserving or want to refresh your skills, our classes focus on practical methods, food safety, seasonal produce, and reliable information you can use at home.
Join one of our classes to learn how to preserve fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other foods safely, reduce food waste, and make the most of what is fresh, local, or abundant.
This online program is supported by a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant, with the goal of expanding access to trustworthy food preservation education to all California counties.
